Standing proudly in Princes Street Gardens this beautiful gothic monument was built in 1864 to honour Sir Walter Scott.
The dark tower can be seen on Princes Street and is decorated with figures from his novels. If you are feeling brave you can climb all 287 steps to the top of tower to see some of the best views over Edinburgh.
